HSE FIRST AID AT WORK - INITIAL COURSE
Depending on the risks to your employees you may need a qualified 'first aider(s)'
This 3 day course (previously 4 day), which after completion and a satisfactory assessment, permits the holder of the certificate to act as a first aider in the workplace under HSE (First Aid) regulations 1981. The certificate is valid for 3 years.
HSE FIRST AID AT WORK - REQUALIFICATION COURSE
This is a 2 day course which after completion and a satisfactory assessment, re-qualifies the holder for a further 3 years to act as a first aider in the workplace under HSE (First Aid) regulations 1981. Deligates should hold a current FAW certificate.
HSE EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK
This is a one day course for employees in a low risk environment where a qualified first aider is necessary. This course became EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK from October 2009 making it a qualification and not just an attendance.
HSE (recommended) refresher half day
This is a half day course for qualified first aiders. This popular course is strongly recommended by the HSE as it refreshes qualified first aiders in the latest techniques and reduces the chances of skill decay. All first aiders should consider attending if they have has no training for 12 months or more after their last course.
